All charges are based from point of pick up to wherre the item is dropped. I do not charge extra for travelling to a pick up.
Minimum costs are calculated on circles based at the Hull Guildhall.
From this point I offer 4 levels of service, with a fixed minimum price for each level of service. Each of these is given as a single journey, from pick up to delivery. If you want a multidrop quote please call.
- Any journey that starts and finishes within the boundary of Hull £15 (10 miles)
The following all have the other destination as anywhere in the UK. - Any journey that starts or finishes within 10 miles of the Guildhall £20 (15 miles)
- Any journey that starts or finishes within 20 miles of the Guildhall £25 (20 miles)
- Any other journey, a minimum charge of £40 within 40 miles of the Guildhall (minimum distance 50 miles).
Any charges incurred from Tolls, Parking or Congestion charges will be included in the quote that you get from me.
As of the 1st December 2007 mileage will be charged at 70p per mile because of the increase in fuel prices. I will endeavour to hold them at this rate but they may need to be increased in further increases occur.
MCM Courier Services will pick up or drop off anywhere within the mainland UK. No point is too remote.
I reserve the right to decline any journey if the item(s) to be carried or the journey is outside my normal scope of work, but please ring, as I am always prepared to discuss your requirements.
Payment, unless agreed in advance, is to be made within 28 days if by invoice. All late payments will be charged at the BOE base rate plus 5%, plus a charge of £10 per reminder letter.
